George's or Buffalo Wild Wings
These two have the best combo of food and environment. George’s will be crowded, so if you are wanting to hear the game head elsewhere.
George's is the go-to place
Failing that, Cricket’s at 3rd and Franklin is good – they have I’d guess 50 or more beers on tap and lots of screens. For the game in 2006 there was a huge watch party at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame (I think in some sort of banquet or other large room), so you might call there and see if they’re doing that again. Poppa Rollo’s Pizza on Valley Mills Dr. at New Road is also really good food and atmosphere, and will have all their big screens in every room (which normally show old movies) on the game – I was there for dinner tonight and they were advertising it on their sign. Those are my suggestions as a lifelong Wacoan.
Thanks for the heads up.

If you’re still looking for a place, Hondo’s in Woodway (on Hewitt Dr. just past Imperial) is a great traditional sports bar with good burgers, and will probably be significantly less crowded than say George’s as it’s not near Baylor/downtown (only 10 minutes away, though, so no big deal).
