ESPN (ticker on t.v.) is reporting this pretty heavily and Mortensen apparently has a text from Pete. ESPN's Bruce Feldman is saying that USC will reportedly go after Oregon State's Mike Riley.

You know what this means?? Ol' Petey knows there is a one ton hammer from the NCAA about to bust the mighty Trojan program.

I've said for two years that the NCAA has done nothing regarding the Reggie Bush ordeal because the NCAA didn't want to tarnish or dismantle a big cash cow (for the NCAA and college football in general).  College football is bigger than ever and it's 365 days a year. Punishing SC would hurt that image. You can disagree, but that's my opinion.

And if Bush is innocent, why hasn't he come forward to set the record straight? If you were accused of some wrongdoing and were innocent, wouldn't you do everything in your power to get it resolved ASAP??

Yea, Bush is in the NFL and doesn't have to talk to the NCAA. But in doing so, he only keeps a black cloud hanging over his head. He isn't exactly setting the NFL on fire and this fiasco only brings more negativity.

Reportedly USC imposed their own sanctions and penalties due to the OJ Mayo incident and wants to lessen the blows the NCAA may have for football.

So add it all up and it points to trouble in paradise for the Trojans. I say Pete knows it and wants out of Dodge before it happens.
