Enjoyed watching that, thanks.
GBR, if our running game does not improve this year, do you see that affecting Brown’s commitment?
I don't think it's out of the question
but I think that there are so many important pieces in the 2011 class to help fix the running — guys like Westerman, Greenlea, and Flowers along the offensive line and then Joe Bergeron is obviously extremely important as well — that I don’t think Brown will hold the lack of success this season against the ‘Horns too much. I’m sure that Mack conveyed to Brown and his family that his preference is for a physical, dominant ground game and I think that will be enough.

Love the stuff. Asking an honest questions because I really don’t know. When was the last time a freshman offensive lineman made a positive difference in the running game? By the time Westerman, Greenlea, and Flowers really impact the rotation Malcolm Brown wants to be playing on Sundays.
Don’t you think he needs to believe that the guys that are there are gonna make the impact? This year’s Soph’s will be seniors on Brown’s first day on campus, and I am not optimistic about any of them. The guys behind them are Espinosa, Ashcraft, Hopkins, Kelley, Porter and Mason Walters, need to show some things for him to see, don’t you think?

You're not optimistic about the younger guys?
Why’s that? Espinosa is supposed to be nasty, Hopkins is playing as a true freshman, Walters is starting as a RS freshman, Porter is playing a decent amount, and Kelley is supposed to be really good too. I can understand if you don’t trust them to be coached up properly, but they’re certainly more talented, athletically-gifted, physical, and mean-spirited than the ballerinas we’ve had the last few years.
Good question about the freshman impact. I believe Ulatoski started; not sure how much he “impacted.”
Maybe I wasn't clear

Poehlmann and Buchanan.

He might take a look at our current "running scheme"
and Jump ship. I wouldn’t blame him.
Two runs into the asses of immovable linemen and 2-yard screens and a prayer don’t exactly look like winners to a kid trying to get to the NFL.
In-VINCE-able.

That's my concern as well
Although, as GOBR points out, MB should recognize that he won’t be running behind this year’s line. Perhaps the biggest question is whether he will view this year’s troubles as talent problems or coaching and scheme problems. If MB sees our problems as due to a lack of talent, then the addition of multiple blue chip players in this year’s class could make all of the difference. But if he views the problem as talent development or coaching or scheme, then he may conclude fresh bodies will make no difference, regardless of how they played in high school.
Chances are, MB will conclude — rightly, I think — that our struggles can be traced to a mix of talent deficiencies and coaching. I’m not sure how that will work out.
Will Malcolm get the wear #34?

Or will he want to keep #28?

He won't wear #28 next year unless Fozzy leaves for the pros.

Ok sorry, this was a dumb question.

Thanks for the video Roy
It’s nice seeing how a guy runs out of a highlight package. I care a lot more about a guy who’s consistently running for 7 tough yards than a guy who’s breaking 1 out of 10 runs for 35.
Looks like you were sitting a few rows above me.
I was really disappointed Cayleb wasn’t at full strength. Would have been a much better game and that would have meant more carries for Malcolm.

How so since Brown’s first day on campus will be the fall semester of ’11?
You are right
With all the redshirting with OL’s and all the committments from juniors, sometimes it gets confusing who will be in what year.
Crazy thing is, the only guy this revelation adds to the list above is Snow.
