Bad news bears.
There goes one of the three playmakers on offense for Texas.

Monroe and Goodwin?
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

Playmakers? Playmakers?
We don’t need no stinkin’ playmakers.
We GD on our side.
O/U is at 44.5
This is probably worth about 3 less. Frak.

Confidence falling....
"Football's so important in Texas. On the West Coast, it's a social. On the East Coast, it's a culture. Here, it's a religion."

Davis being out definitely makes it more difficult for us to score points..
We’re going to need the defense to score a couple times for us to have a chance. Then have it be a low scoring game. We are toast if we get in a shootout.
Damn
one less player to throw ineffective screens to…
If you're so sure of what it ain't, how about telling us what it am!

This just means
that someone else will have to step up. I think Goodwin, Williams, Kirkendoll will get the job done. OU defense is suspect and if there was a game during the season that I would predict our team to “show up” would be vs the spooners. We have plenty of people on the team ready to step up in this game and become a hero. This game makes heroes
They sure didn't step last week...
We will see if they throw in the towel like the team did last week.
Oklahoma is gonna shit a brick
when they see Shipley lined up in the slot tomorrow.

Shit...
…that sucks. Can Jackson Jeffcoat play tailback?
Hello Texas, sure is good to see you again...

D. White, G. Timmons, D. Hales
We are looking at you guys….anyone want to step up?
G. Timmons was suppose to be our main guy, D. White is GOOOOOOOD, and Hales is shake & bake. Not to mention our senior guys like Kirkendohl, Chiles, and Williams. If our guys play their game we willl win. That means you O-Line and RBs.
This news from NEWSOk helps balance the story--OU's Top Cover Corner (Jamell Fleming) is limping
Per NewsOK…..“Texas will be without its top receiver, freshman Mike Davis, who reportedly is out with a knee injury. That leaves the onus on Kirkendoll, Goodwin and Williams to make plays against Fleming, OU’s top cover corner, who is coming off an ankle injury that slowed him in practice earlier in the week. The outcome of this battle will go a long way in determining how effective Texas is moving the ball.”
Just great
I hope Mack learns to stop screwing around before halftime and try to kneel the ball.

I thought he would of learning his lesson after the National Championship game...
If we down the ball before the half against UCLA, we have a healthy Mike Davis for this game. Only bad things happen when the offense has the ball.
Time to start drinking...Chiles you HAVE to step up! Quit crying on the sideline!
How many catches will Kirk have today close the the first down marker…try to make a move…and blow the first down?
I'm more worried about how many muffs we'll see from the punt returners
And drops from the receivers.
