I lived in Baton Rouge for a year in the early 80s.  I met my wife there.  I thought then I would become an LSU fan.  Didn't happen.  My wife now loves the Longhorns.  Last year, my youngest daughter started college at LSU. My in-laws thought then that I would become an LSU fan.  Didn't happen.  This year, my middle child (a daughter) transferred from TxSt to LSU.  One reason she transferred was to go to a school where football was exciting.  I watched the LSU game last night.  Yes.  It was exciting.  Did I wake up an LSU fan this morning?  No, but I  don't know how much longer I can hang on.  Please don't let me be suckered in by Les Miles.  I've seen his colossal failures, especially against UT.  I just know he would let me down.  Mack, please give me reason to hope.  Please give me brilliant play calls that focus on scoring (not testing the defense or setting up a scoring drive in the 4th quarter).  Please give me excellent blocking, throws to the open receiver farthest down the field, completed passes, passes over the middle, a green playing field (not littered yellow), and D. J. Monroe.  Mack, I'm tryin' to hang on here but it's really tough.  Mack, please, help, I need you.  I'm begging you.
