Scathing article by Bohls on UT football coaches
Bohls really attacks the coaching staff in this one, and notably, takes a jab at the program for allowing Pat Forde insider access.

And, for a change, a Bohls with bite. Kirk has great skill with the word, and he seems to have some dependable sources around/inside the program. Too often, he gets cutesy in phrasing/description, and in his column angles. This is a welcome change of pace.
He’s TOTALLY RIGHT about Mack trying to duck the “running game emphasis” issue. The HC made that call, both to install the change and to make it a focal point for this team and this season.
Greg Davis is not to blame for this failure (he has plenty of his own). What this offense has become is a product of Mack wanting to sign NFL-level QBs and wideouts and his failure to identify, develop and utilize everything else — meaning running backs, tight ends, centers, tackles, fullbacks and guards.
The current freshman crop is not going to change this weakness. The 2011 signees may, but they won’t significantly impact the team before 2012, maybe 2013. Worst of all: Will Muschamp may decide his impact on the defensive side is being wasted and that the voices he’s hearing may be worth listening to.
