Dish and foxsports

It seems that dish network and fox sports are in a fight over money so I got screwed and fox pulled there broadcast so here's the question does anyone know when or if there going to get it strait because we play Baylor next week on Fox Sports Net !! I dont really want to switch but they might be forcing me too?

I can't help but...

I did want to point out that despite our poor playing this season, at least we’ve gotten to watch all the games on ESPN and none on Fox Sports yet!

Dish is making a stand.

and expect your basic Fox channel to disappear on Oct. 31. Cabelvision contract with Fox is about to end as well. I kind of agree with Dish’s stance that Fox is charging “exorbitant” rate increases. Quite frankly I’m ok with losing the Fox channels for some time, especially Fox News, but not for an extended amount of time. However, I would be fine if I lost Fox News for good though.

If you call dish network and complain

like I did, they’ll give you 6 free pay per view vouchers.

you can get ppv

without a phone line, they just beam it right into your dish, you can order online or with a cell phone.

DirecTV wants you

And you can get great incentives to switch.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you're a mile away AND you have their shoes.

Yeah, they have dish at the gym I go to, so I missed the Kansas / KSU blowout last night

Which I had be planning to watch….

Instead I had to watch WVU against UCF on ESPN.

DirecTV...hands down.

Andrew Siciliano and the Red Zone channel make it a slam dunk. I’ve never been a Dish supporter. I loathe TW as well. Uverse is not universal yet, so they are hard to find in many areas.

i have UVERSE and love the AT&T service. I switched from time warner because the service was bad (atleast for me) and the customer service was absolutley horrible.

Direct TV

is the way to go.I’ll bet you can get NFL game day for free and a bunch of other sports channels. Some good hunting and fishing on there too.

google "how to watch football online"

and you’ll get a few websites explaining the various services out there. You can sign up for $50-$100 (I believe it’s a one time payment) and get online tv. I’m in your boat, too.
I love Dish, but once Fox News leaves, then I think we’ll be switching to Direct. Yuck!

The dispute is over - just got an email from Dish Network...

“DISH Network is pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with FOX and that your FX and National Geographic channels have been restored. You may have also had a FOX Regional Sports Network channel removed and this programming has been restored as well. The new agreement also ensures the continued carriage of all your FOX local channels.”
