Spanish article about Colt McCoy
If you speak spanish you must read this article about Colt McCoy and his first start as a pro. If you don't, it's a good time to learn. In Spain is so anusual this kind of articles and this one has been published in the second (in a grade of importance) sports newspaper.
BTW the article has been written by me. I hope you enjoy it.

Liche,
Me gusta tu artículo sobre Colt. También, me pone alegre que yo lo entienda. Estoy tomando español a UT este semestre y me gusta leer artículos como este.
Si entiende español, yo le recomiendo que lo lea.

Thank you very much for the compliments
If you want to practice your spanish reading about College Football I have a blog in spanish about it: http://conferenciaindependiente.blogspot.com/
I know I can’t provide anything new about CFB to you. Because you guys, who are living in USA have more access to the information, but I’m sure that is funnier reading things like this than the homework from the class.
Gracias.

Yo tenía dos años de español, pero mi maestro era un idiota.
There’s also the possibility that it was me who just couldn’t adapt
hahaha

Very flattering article.
The overall tone and content of the article couldn’t be more positive. Rather than translate the whole thing, I’ll just give you guys the highlights.
It begins by talking about how the writer was initally pleased to hear Colt would be getting his first start in the NFL as a QB, but then felt worried and dismayed to discover he’d be playing against the Steelers. The writer translates Colt’s height and weight into metric, which seems pretty big for a regular person, and then reminds his readers of how small that is for the NFL. He gives his readers, who might not know much about American football, the (correct) impression that Colt’s Browns are a poor team struggling to improve while the Steelers are a dynasty.
He writes a short biography for Colt, describing how he was born in New Mexico but grew up in Tuscola, then how he played high school football at Jim Ned before being the Longhorn QB for four years. It describes his four years in college, with all the ups and downs.
Basically, the theme of the article is all about reminding everyone that heart matters a lot in an athlete, and that nobody should count Colt out just yet.
I loved it.
My favorite line
¿Será Colt McCoy el arma que estaba esperando el Caos para conquistar el Reino de los Señores del Acero? Quiero pensar que sí.
Will Colt McCoy be the weapon Chaos was waiting for to conquer the Kingdom of the Lords of Iron? I want to think so.
rofl, I guess by “Lords of Iron” he means the Pittsburgh Steelers
