Will Baylor beat us at home?

Sorry folks but I say yes. Look at the stat comparisons. (By the way, I hate that the only reason I could still look at the game preview on the front page of ESPN's NCAAFB website is the fact that we are playing a ranked team.)

Baylor 5th in total yards: UCLA & Iowa State , need I say more?

10th in passing yards: Our vaunted secondary is weak and has holes in it. Gideon is about the only one playing out there and Chykie WILL get beat like he does every game for a big play or two and even if he is in the vicinity when a big catch is made, he can't tackle. Scott will just watch as another receiver splits him and Vacarro for good yards.

26th in rushing yards: We couldn't stop UCLA or ISU runs even when they ran straight at us

20th in points for: They score an average of 34.9 points per game, we only scored 34 against Rice and Wyoming. Texas will not win a shootout. Even though their defense is somewhat weak, our offense can not score a lot of points or be depended on to score consistently in the red zone.

Coaching: Art Briles has taken down programs with mediocre players and won. Mack has a staff that has marquee players playing uninspired and losing. Greg Davis, need I say more?

Sorry folks. Our good outcome this year is a new O coordinator that can take talent and develop it and call plays that actually get downfield or at least a receiving route past the chains on third down.
