Is It Time for some new recivers?????
With all the dropped passes that has been going on this year why have we not seen any of the other highly recruited receivers i.e. Deshean Hales, Greg Timmons and Darius White. All three of these guys have the skills or we wouldn’t have recruited them. Let’s be honest Malcolm Wiliiams, John Chiles and Goodwin or Kirkendoll just aren't getting it done. I would like to see the guys that were running the 2nd team offense with GG last year step up and get into games. I tried to explain the difference between Colt and GG throwing styles but I mean come on GG couldn't put the ball in better spots for the receivers and they are simply dropping the ball. (Literally). It baffles me how these receivers drop easy passes (Mathews, Williams) but make ridiculous catches (Kirkendoll, Williams). Just a thought.

John Chiles has been earning it.
Too bad he had to sit out some because of injury, but he’s had at least as many good games as bad.
Other than him… yeah, we’ve got options. We need sticky hands.
I can’t help but think that Goodwin and Williams are being underutilized by GD though. How are they always covered!?!
ABSOLUTELY
Couldn’t agree more…the receiving corp has been a major disappointment…poor route running, terrible blocking, inabilty to acheive separation from defenders and not catching the ball consistanly have plagued this team all year…sorry, gonna give Davis a pass on this one!
Goodwinn and Chiles
have been injured quite a bit. I thought Chiles has had a decent year and Goodwinn has been underutilized IMHO. Kirkendoll and M. Williams are out of excuses.
"I want to be remembered as the guy who gave his all whenever he was on the field."
-Walter Payton
M Williams
What a huge disappointment! He has the size and skills and this was the year to step up and have a breakout season. I was hopeful that GG could see him as a reliable and sure handed receiver but he has been a big bust. Kirkendoll is a Jeckyl and Hyde receiver that makes a few good catches and then rescinds to missed catches all over the field.
I'm surprised to see Kirkendoll lumped in with the bad.
He has been the only WR worth a damn in a few games this season.
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.
He runs backwards every single time he touches the ball
Drops a lot of em, but makes some good catches. If he didn’t run backwards every time he touched it I’d be able to forget about his drops and put him with the good. But he’s just so annoying I’ve come to dislike him.
You're gonna strongly agree with some of what I say, and you'll strongly disagree with some of what I say. Either way, I don't give a d@#n. I'm just here to talk sports.
Give everyone a shot...
Let the young guys play. Let Major call plays. Let Greg eat his vanilla moonpies in the booth. I’d rather lose spectacularly than the way we’ve been losing lately.
