Anyone see Wright's "incomplete" just now

in Baylor-OSU? Possibly one of the worst calls I’ve seen in college football. That was an incredible catch.

Never ask a man if he's from Texas. If he is, he'll tell you soon enough. If he's not, don't embarrass him.

not as great as it should be at this point

but better. I’m off the vicodin and drinking some Shiner Holiday Cheer, which is an improvement at least. Thanks.

so not too excited about tonight

We're on the road, the team must have zero arrogance at this point

I’m not assuming a loss as much as I just have no expectations about how they’ll play. A 20 point loss wouldn’t surprise me, but neither would a solid win (well, it kind of would, but certainly isn’t implausible).

by LonghornEm on Nov 6, 2010 12:59 PM CDT up reply actions

sometimes having no expectations can be a good thing

to this day, the most relaxed I’ve ever been at an A&M game was OU 2002

I was convinced before the game that Dustin Long was going to throw 5 interceptions in the game, and told the Sooner fans around me as much in the pregame. When he threw his first two, I just nodded. I just wanted a chance to see Reggie play. Then Reggie came in, went nuts on their defense, Kevin Sumlin made Mike Stoops his woman, in the unwilling/late-at-night-in-prison manner, and the rest is history.

Good point

A sign of how far we have fallen this year is that few of us would be surprised if we lost 3 out of our last 4.

The same way...

we lost to UCLA, OU, and Iowa State. But wait…Mack said we played alot better against Baylor. had more yards, held their super QB in check (except for 3 plays), etc. I guess we are down to moral victories

Hey, the system is not perfect. But, it's better than the one we had. Um, really? Joe Paterno led 4 undefeated teams under the old system that were not National Champions. With this "better" system, we've only had to endure a BCS controversy OR an inconclusive end to the following seasons: 1998, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009.

NU fumbles again, ISU recovers.

ISU missed a FG on prior drive…needs to cash in going with wind.

NU lost at home last year to ISU primarily due to fumbles.

Mack-like determination.

ISU gets 57-yard FG from a kicker who missed five in a row prior to kick.

Comforting to see Okie State

put up 55 points and 700+ yards on Baylor. cs. Why the F couldn’t UT do something like that against Baylor?

Fake punt by the Mad Scientist...

Seems to be LSU’s best play. Maybe we should try it.
