OU comes across pretty shady in new 30 for 30
The new 30 for 30 on Marcus Dupree is excellent. It's blatantly obvious that Oklahoma, Barry switzer or anyone close to him gave a damn about him. The guy broke bowl game records and Switzer put the loss on Dupree. Dupree admits that he received a double wide trailer from the sooners. He verbally committed to Coach Fred and Texas but unexplicably signed with ou at the 11th hour. Personally, I feel bad for these kids that get lied to and get screwed in the end. He was a freak of an athlete and Barry wanted to move him to tight end....I'm blessed to be Texas Longhorn.

You're gonna strongly agree with some of what I say, and you'll strongly disagree with some of what I say. Either way, I don't give a d@#n. I'm just here to talk sports.
Wasn't it the preacher
That said the double wide was given by OU? He was a snake. Dupree went on to mention in an interview with Tramel that everything Fairley the preacher said was basically a lie. As for Switzer giving a damn, not sure if you watched, but he mentioned it was his biggest coaching regret, and Dupree himself just called it a breakdown in communication. The post-Arizona comments were warranted, yet too harsh and blown out of proportion. To say that Switzer didn’t greatly care about Dupree is nothing short of a lie.

Ah yes,
that paragon of virtue, Barry Switzer. How could ANYone suspect Saint Barry?! Well, other than Larry Lacewell, of course. And then there were the robberies, and the rapes, and the gunplay. But other than all that, name one thing the Romans did for us…

The aquaduct?
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

It was the preacher.
Dupree Got manipulated and robbed by Rev. Ken. The only regret marcus mentioned, was not returning to OU and being part of the National championship team.

I am shocked. Truly shocked at this allegation.

OU is OU
Haha I’m gonna rock myself to sleep thinking of every sooner fan that tells me “Switzer is a good guy! read moonshine runner (or whatever it’s called) and tell me you wouldn’t wanna hang out with the guy!”
They’re right I would wanna hang out with the guy, cuz he’d definitely pay.
OU comes across as pretty shady. Period.
By existing.
Never ask a man if he's from Texas. If he is, he'll tell you soon enough. If he's not, don't embarrass him.
Dupree yanked
our chain just like Darrell Scott. And all those excuses he made in that episode on youtube don’t wash with me.
Our D back then knocked the hell out of everyone – great D coordinator in Leon Fuller. Coach Boom could learn a lot from him.
