Cory Joseph hit a brilliant jumper with 1.4 seconds left to lift Texas to a 78-76 win over North Carolina in Greensboro. Joseph and Jordan Hamilton were fantastic throughout, providing the scoring Texas needed to pull out the gritty win. Huge tip of the hat to Alexis Wangmene who played his best game of his Longhorns career, and delivered on some of the intriguing potential he flashed as a freshman before the injury.
It was a true team win. J'Covan Brown bounced back from a terrible two-minute stretch in the first half to help Texas in the second. Tristan Thompson didn't let 38 minutes of nothing prevent him from delivering 2 fantastic minutes to close the game.
So so much to like about this game. And about this team.
