Terrelle Pryor Gone?
Has to sit 5 games in 2011 as a result of selling memorabilia. Why would he stick around?

Agreed on Pryor returning
But why the double standard?
NCAA never ever does future penalties like this. They find out something in the offseason, you’re gone for 1, or 3, or whatever games TO START the next season . . . not games down the line, not games the coach can pick and choose based on the quality of opponent.
Plus, as you point out, why return at all? Sounds like the BCS bowl conglomerate has strong-armed the NCAA into deferring the suspensions.
What happened to his tweet?
I thought Pryor “paid for all his tattoos.”
It's fun to do bad things. -Latarian Milton
Apparently the rest of that Tweet was how he got the money to pay for it
He used the money he made selling his gold pants, his jerseys, his awards, etc.
i had wondered aloud how some of these kids were affording these full arm sleeves. do you know how much a full arm sleeve costs? thousands, seriously. and when you see an 18/19 yr old with both arms covered you gotta know something is up.
i am not surprised pryor isnt gonna be suspsended this year. after cam newton evaded his sanctions like a would be walk on sec tackler, i finally gave up on thinking that the ncaa gave even one iota of a squirrel turd about their so called student-athletes.

This ridiculous ruling may be the beginning of the end of the NCAA
Their credibility is completley, 100% gone. The riduclous ruling of allowing Cam Newton to play and earn them money in the SEC and MNC games is now being continued with this self-serving ruling to make more money off the Rose bowl.
Hello Mark Cuban….please save my favorite sport from the joke of the bowl games.
NCAA please recuse yourselves from making any more rulings on player status and punishments. When you profit from turning a blind eye to the star players, who are still playing, it is clear that the almighty dollar is driving your decisions. This is ridiculous.
Heisman Trust, please delete your moral and integrity language from your award and go ahead and give Reggie his trophy back.

Mark Cuban...
He’s been my homeboy since he bought the Mavs. I’ve always defended him since I would do exactly the same things he does if I became a billionaire. Buy a sports team. Sit on the front row of every game. Poke my head into the huddle every now and then to say, “What up guys?” Seriously, I don’t know why everyone hates him. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I live in San Antonio, but for reals, if he fixes the college football system, he’ll be a hero to a lot more people.

Is anyone buying this?
Tressel said he wanted to make sure that the players wouldn’t “skirt the consequences” by playing in the Sugar Bowl, then declaring for the NFL draft and avoiding any punishment.
“We told them they would have to make the decision on the NFL prior to leaving for the bowl game,” Tressel said at his first Sugar Bowl news conference. “It wouldn’t be fair to not face the consequences down the road.”
Still a Blaine Irby fan
