Glad Bobby has caught up with
the 3-4 other sources who have been saying for a week that Tolly was gone. Good guy, and a capable coach from what I can tell . . . but the staff HAS GOT TO GET younger, more vibrant, bring some new ideas and techniques and energy to the program.
I’m guessing four of the nine assistants are gone within a week.
I'm assuming that his ST's meltdowns all season are factors. nt

Do you work for jesus?
The rate at which you credit him every time something is mentioned makes me think you are getting paid.

I don't know about that
I do know they have wood for him.

The difference between the initial reports and the reports coming out now is that some of the information is coming from the players.
There is another post saying that the players are being told that Bobby Kennedy is not coming back either. Link
I am sure that there will be at least a 40% turnover on the staff
Possibly more. I know it’s an exciting thing for a fanbase that is extremely disappointed by the most recent season. However, changes that look good on paper don’t always pan out, so let’s hope they’re very judicious and ensure they find the right people. New isn’t always better.
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.
Amen
Change is a 50/50 thing. You better make sure that you are changing for the better. I am a bit worried about wholesale changes of a staff that got us the MNC just a few years ago.
Obviously so e changes are needed (the O-Line in particular in my opinion) but let’s not make changes that are not improvements. I don’t know very much about X and O schemes, etc. But when a talented retired NFL O-lineman (Bruce Mathews) comes to Texas to check us out for his son and basically laughs at our scheme…..well, that was enough to make me realize that we need better coaching. The OC change is a no brainer—-I thank GD to the extent he got out of the way for VY’s talent and that he let McCoy run the game on field. However, I know that we can do better.
