No. 4 -- Miles Onyegbule to Texas
The fireworks started on Friday with the commitments of Jaxon Shipley, Chet Moss, and Taylor Doyle and it didn't take long for the momentum to continue on Saturday morning. After a meeting with Mack Brown in his office, Arlington wide receiver Miles Onyegbule received his scholarship offer and committed on the spot.

trey metoyer
whats the rumors going around about him.
Will not attend the Junior Day
Looks like the Longhorns might be done at receiver for the time being, which could mean that Flowers is a serious target or that they will go after an athlete or two who could end up on either side of the ball. Not really surprised that Metoyer and Texas appear to be heading in different directions both because of the numbers and because the Longhorns have been on the outside looking in with him for the most part anyway.

After last year's haul at WR losing Metoyer doesn't really break my heart
but if he goes to the land thieves that will sting.

Miles Onyegbule>Trey Metoyer
I was more impressed by miles film than I was trey’s. Miles looked smooth and route running was clean. Trey looked like an athlete that just tried to do to much and didn’t stay within himself.

I've been high on Miles O since day one
I coached in the same district last year as Miles and I’ve said and I maintain the stance that he moves like Roy Williams. I think he is a great get. I don’t know if we will have the same career but when you just watch him it’s hard not to notice.

What film did you watch on Onyegbule?
I can’t find anything other than the ESPN film on him, which doesn’t have many plays and shows off his good feet, but not a whole lot more than that.
Most lists have Metoyer ahead of Onyegbule and I haven’t seen enough film on the latter to make definitive statements about that, but Metoyer is a big-time playmaker — he doesn’t have the best measurables and probably doesn’t run a great 40 time, but he makes things happen on the football field. Whitehouse really rode him hard this year and from the numbers and his sophomore film, he produced, even after Preston Conder left and Quincy Aldridge was hurt. He pretty much was that football team for most of the season, meaning that he was going against defenses geared to stop him.
With that being said, it’s clear that either because Metoyer wasn’t that high on Texas or simply because Bobby Kennedy, who I believe recruited Onyegbule personally, had Onyegbule rated more highly. There are some strong reasons to like Onyegbule a great deal, particularly his agility for his size and a frame that can add some weight, but I like Metoyer a great deal as a player as well.

Rivals
It took me awhile to find some stuff GoBR on Miles. Everything I saw was on rivals. The kid just looked he could move with his size and I think they have him listed at a 4.5 40. Which for 6’4 220 thats freaking impressive.

Shipley and Big O
The WR class might not be complete, but with those two guys in the fold, I wouldn’t be disappointed if it were. O was one of the top guys I’d hoped to hear this news about today, along with Flowers at guard.
I have beat wholesale ass for a whole lot less.

Flowers would be huge
not expecting it though. I think he takes some time before making a decision, but it looks good for the Longhorns with him.

Onyegbule
I checked last night because I thought he would be the first or second to commit. If my only complaint is waiting 12 hours so he could do it in person, I don’t have too much to complain about.
