Around SBN: Are The Orioles Bad Or Unlucky With Their Young Pitching?

Help BON take over the world

The national readership and fans of other teams are certainly always welcome here at BON and indicate that the site appeals to more than just the burnt orange faithful, but Longhorn fans are and always will be the backbone of this site. As BON strives to take over the world -- we will be benevolent overlords, I promise -- there are several things that you, kind BONizen, can do to help.

You've already taken the first major step with your readership and that is deeply appreciated by everyone here. The other steps are almost equally as simple. You've probably noticed that SBNation has recently rolled out a better connectivity with Facebook, allowing you to post your comments or Fanposts/Fanshots to your Facebook page. Please take advantage of those functions to help let your friends know about what you're doing here. If you aren't currently a fan of BON on Facebook, please check out the page and, if you would like, add yourself as a fan. If Carrington Byndom is a fan already, why aren't you?

The next step is to invite some of your friends to become fans of BON or at least let them know about the website. It's a great feeling to be the most knowledgable Texas fan among your friends, but why not let them in on the secret as well? If you don't prefer to let them know about it by sending them fan invites, simply click on the like feature so your love of Steve Edmond's commitment or Dime's incredible Daily Roundups appear on your feed.

The last step is for those Twitter fans out there. If you aren't already a follower of the BON Twitter page, log onto PB_at_BON to have the latest updates sent to your phone. If you have a group of friends on Twitter, make sure that you re-Tweet the news that you like the most so they can get in on the action as well. With my growing narcissism (sarcasm, or is it?), I may even try to get a Twitter page up and running in the near future.

Thanks again for making BON the fantastic community that it is today and helps us expand our reach to even more of the Texas fanbase.

All comments, FanPosts, and FanShots are the views of the reader-authors who create them.

“I may even try to get a Twitter page up and running in the near future…”

I finally signed up for Twitter. I feel like my IQ went down several points.

Whats wrong with Twitter??

Quick, Easy way to get a lot of info I think.

Yeah, but in the sports/media world

It is an incredible shortcut to get the latest breaking news – sometimes, straight from the player’s/coach’s mouth (or should I say, tweet).

I haven't signed up for it yet

But probably will someday. I just pity those people who follow celebrities and get excited to find out they had a ham sandwich for lunch or just got their oil changed.

I agree

There are some aspects which are pretty dumb.

But its pretty cool to get a Text about Commit number 15 coming in, then you almost hit the car in front of you because you are so excited.

Its a great way to get info quickly, and gives you a lot of freedom.

Exactly.

It can be annoying. For breaking news it can’t be beat, but most people do not use it that way.

I don’t care what you are doing every 10-20 minutes. Your life is just not that interesting. Mine isn’t, either.

Yep

My life is boring…although I would love to think it is interesting.

The President’s life is not interesting enough to post a tweet every few minutes. Narcissists love Twitter.

End of Twitter rant for the day.

I don't know

I got quite the applause when I put my pants on this morning. Right leg first, left leg second. Degree of difficulty increased my credibility.

Interesting...

I always pegged you to be a guy who went with the left leg first.

BON is already over the world

I’m spanish living in Spain.

I dont know how I found this site, but I have to say that is great, the best blog in the world. Despite I’m so far away I’m a big fan and I visit BON every day to know what is new in Austin.

I’m a fan on facebook, but I cant help in that because in Spain football isnt that popular, my friends look at me like a weirdo.

Kindle

My girlfriend surprised me with a Kindle yesterday and I quickly discovered that you can read BON on your Kindle. Amazing!
