Kansas - Texas Tech tied at 28

2:20 left in the first half……interesting.

Just tried to make this thread. Didn’t work for some reason. UK and Tech tied with 2 to go

by UT_BKC on Mar 11, 2010 12:18 PM CST reply actions

Wow. 34-32 Tech. that would be a huge break for us if we could beat baylor

by UT_BKC on Mar 11, 2010 12:23 PM CST reply actions

Err… “34-32 tech only down by 2” was what I was trying to type

by UT_BKC on Mar 11, 2010 12:24 PM CST up reply actions

Well, that would help the Aggies more than anything....

can you imagine to get to the finals they would just have to beat nebraska and tech….hilarious!

by silky51 on Mar 11, 2010 12:29 PM CST up reply actions

You are right. For some reason I thought it was switched and KU was schedule to play the winner of our game.

by UT_BKC on Mar 11, 2010 1:00 PM CST up reply actions

Gtown now up on Syracuse 60-59

10 minutes to go………..great game.

Jayhawks wearing down Tech

47-37 KU, 15:54

It couldn’t last long.

by Infield Elephant on Mar 11, 2010 12:48 PM CST reply actions

Actually

I’m thinking with this and their last loss to Louisville, they may drop down to #2.

Where’s AW when you need him?

by Infield Elephant on Mar 11, 2010 1:08 PM CST up reply actions

right?

so maybe Purdue or Ohio St has a door opened now?

by silky51 on Mar 11, 2010 1:10 PM CST up reply actions

So...

Kansas, Kentucky, Duke, tOSU/Purdue?

And what if TTU pulls it off? KU a lock?

by Infield Elephant on Mar 11, 2010 1:13 PM CST up reply actions

Bracketology

Still has Cuse a 1. Looks like he’s saying they may go West instead of South.

AW, thoughts on whether the Houston regional would get Duke or Kentucky should they win out?

by jc25 on Mar 11, 2010 2:30 PM CST up reply actions

Houston Regional

I could see Syracuse getting shipped West and Duke getting to stay east if they were to win the ACC tourney.

That would put Kansas in St. Louis and Kentucky to Houston.

--AW--

by awiggo on Mar 11, 2010 6:30 PM CST up reply actions

They are a lock as a #1 seed

The committee could take into account the injury to Onuaku but even the injury won’t make enough of a difference.

Plus, there aren’t four teams better than Syracuse even without him: Kansas, Kentucky, Duke and…? K State, Purdue, Ohio State, West Virginia? I don’t think so.

I Would Hate to Lose 3 Times to Baylor

But I am expecting it. That Baylor team really impresses me with their style, effort, and enjoyment of the game. I think they will be a very tough out in the tourney.

by realmccoy on Mar 11, 2010 2:30 PM CST reply actions

Agreed.

If we do lose, I think I’m pulling for Baylor.

by Infield Elephant on Mar 11, 2010 2:31 PM CST up reply actions

I hate baylor

They ran the score up last game.

I have a feeling that we might pull this one out tonight! Call me an optimistic homer…I just have a feeling

rick barnes

Someone please show Rick the door.
I thought it would be different during the playoffs, but NO.
Players without the ball are still standing around in the half court offense like they are in little league. Watching them trying to score is painful.
