I fail to understand...
…why CBS thinks that people without a geographic rooting interest will prefer seeing a 1-16 game to an 8-9 or even a 6-11. I think that most people would rather see a good matchup rather than one of the tournament favorites destroy a terrible team. There will be plenty of time for watching Kansas later. The first round is about upsets and evenly-matched teams. Who cares whether Kansas beats Lehigh by 20 or 50?

Agree
It does look like NYC is in the main, not the constant, section. I’m assuming that means you’ll get shipped elsewhere if KU runs away early.
I also assume that we should all be rooting for ABC/ESPN to outbid CBS for future NCAA tournaments. I’d love to see all 63 games broadcast across multiple networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ABC, ESPN Classic, even Disney) so that we could flip channels instead of receive 15 second live look-ins in quadrant screens of time-outs.

I'm screwed in Chicago.
Will have to bring my laptop to the bar!

I hate when CBS has broadcasting rights for the tournament
They don’t have any subsidiaries, as far as I’m aware, so it’s the main CBS station or nothing. I hate ABC/ESPN, but they have a good number of channels on which they can broadcast games. FAUX has its sports stations. Even NBC has MSNBC, CNBC, etc. that they’ve used in the past to broadcast concurrent sporting events. CBS sucks.
Boycott Facebook. It's lame. Inform your real friends that you're going to communicate with them like a normal human being, and then delete your account. Seriously.

What is your set up?
I am working from home today from my living room. I have my TV for what ever CBS is showing in DC, my computer for “work” and my wife’s laptop for March Madness On Demand.
What is are your plans for the first half of the best two days in sports?
