Texas Takes on UTPA @ 6:05
[UPDATE: Texas committed 2 errors, had only 4 hits and struck out 13 times, yet the Horns won 3-2 behind strong relief pitching and a solo homer from Cameron Rupp. Stayton Thomas gets the win with 1 inning of relief and Chance Ruffin gets the save with 2 scoreless innings. Next stop: Houston]
Freshman Hoby Milner takes the mound for the first time as a Longhorn. Milner was a 44th round pick of the soon to be NL East champion Washington Nationals. Kyle Kotchie, a transfer from Lake-Sumter Community College, will take the mound for UTPA. This appears to be a true early season midweek game for both teams so hopefully some of the youngsters will see some playing time.

While most are dreaming of success, winners wake up and work hard to achieve it.
