Do I Have To Feel Dirty About This?

Last night I was watching Tom Penders' club and I couldn't help but relish the nostalgia I felt. Granted, we probably had reached a ceiling with Tom and I'm not sure I've ever understood his antics at the end of his tenure or his personal demons. I saw a squad though that reminded me of the "BMW" days. The announcers went on at length about Tom teaching "shooting" and I have always heard that you can't really teach that.

I don't know ladies and gents. I feel kinda dirty right now....like I shouldn't have enjoyed watching Tom's team. Was there anything that Tom did better than Rick does now? Thoughts?

Everyone’s entitled to a few — and I’m another who had a great time watching Penders’ running horns. Tom Terrific is a package deal. You get the bad with the good.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you're a mile away AND you have their shoes.

Runnin' 'Horns

I never gave a flip about Texas basketball until Coach Penders came along. I think he brought a level of excitement, or emotion, to the ’Horns that is missing with Coach Barnes. Also, my better half is a U of H alum, so it is kind of neat to see him there. Hope he brings the Cougars back to national prominence.

I never watched any basketball at all until I started watching the runnin’ Horns. Tom and Tommy really got me into college basketball. Tom Penders will always have a special place in my sports heart for that.

But even though I was okay with Penders, I’m glad that Barnes is the coach instead.

Boycott Facebook. It's lame. Inform your real friends that you're going to communicate with them like a normal human being, and then delete your account. Seriously.
