Texas Wins their 10th National Championship in Men's Swimming and Diving!

Link to ESPN Article. Hook em!

Currently, the Horns are in 2nd place, heading into the last day of competition at the 2010 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving National Championships Meet.  California took over an early UT lead yesterday and currently have the edge over the horns with a score or 348-330.  Arizona is ranked 3rd with a score of 269.  Come on TEXAS!  I really, really, do not want ANOTHER second place finish for ANOTHER National Championship match.

Also in other news, this article hits on something that is surprising for the NCAA.  Kindness.  According to this article from ESPN, a diver from BYU pulled himself out of the diving competition on Monday due to his involvement with the Church of Latter Day Saints, which forbids competition on Sundays.  The NCAA offered to postpone the whole event until Monday, but the diver, Brandon Watson, decided that he didn't want to disrupt the event.  Very kind gesture made by the NCAA.

--Update:  Texas takes the National Championship 500-469.5 over California!  This is UT's 10th national championship in Men's Swimming and Diving.  Congrats to Coach Reese and the boys!  Great job! Light that TOWER!!!
