Is this for real?

6′4″, 276 lbs. Runs the 40 in 5.94.

"I like them a lot," said Lang, who also has offers from Florida State, South Carolina, UCF and FIU. "I don't know a lot about them, but I wasn't expecting it this early, if at all."

Mack Brown doesn't "send" offers, as the story indicates.

He “makes” them in person in his office.

Beyond that, Longhorns have five O-line commitments and offers out to two high-level out-of-state players.

Yeah, right

I just received my offer from Bobby Kennedy yesterday, too. I think I can still run a 6 second 40.

Hard to believe

that we would be interested in the 8th best OL prospect in another state…but who knows.

Who is this guy?

"Football's so important in Texas. On the West Coast, it's a social. On the East Coast, it's a culture. Here, it's a religion."

Source

While it seems peculiar to offer this kid, and he could be making it up like that kid who faked out those west coast schools awhile back (think it was Oregon and Stanford) by saying he had offers and holding a hat picking ceremony when he had no offers…..in this case the source is their home newspaper, which is more credible than most. I guess we just wait and see what unfolds….

Check the link

It has been updated and his offer was from Texas TECH, not Texas.

I can run a 6sec. 40

And that’s if I have to stop at Trader Joe’s along the way.

I have beat wholesale ass for a whole lot less.

So were his quotes

attributed to Tech or was he talking about Texas and is now really upset? I see the quotes are gone from the story….
