DT Marquis Anderson confused on his offer status?
"Texas offered (several) linemen and is only taking two. As far as I know, they already have their two commits. I still think I have a little opening to get a commitment in, but I am not sure I am ready for that." "If they (Texas) are still willing to take me, then they are still one of my choices. My favorite is from the bottom of my heart, and I really believe that my decision is going to come down to TCU and OU. I hope to make the decision as soon as possible, but the latest will be before the season starts in the summer."
Why does he think we have a second DL commit when we currently do not, and why does he not know if he still has an offer or not? Kind of strange that he is between TCU and OU. I guess he isn't very likely to Texas, but driving past Austin and Memorial Stadium everytime he wants to visit home is going to be a bit tough. Maybe this means Quincy Russel is real likely, but probably best not to read to read too much into this except he isn't sure what he wants to do.

And not that they are tied at the hip....
But how does this play into Brown and where he goes. Especially if his teammate Anderson ends up at “we send offers to the whole world” OU.
i’m sure he knows now what his offer status is. and what Texas’ commit status is.

That is why I posted it--it doesn't really make sense
Maybe he has grade issues or something else that he didn’t want to say to the press.
sounds like he’s simply confused on how many Texas has committed… not every kid follows recruiting as tenaciously as us.

LOL
I had to look him up, very funny.
Kind of true for all the San Antonio kids though. Austin is so dang convenient for them and their families that I’m surprised A. Green, M. Brown and M. Anderson are not jumping at the chance to commit. I will be the first to admit that I have become spoiled and impatient for commits—Thank you Coach Brown and Coach Boom.
Since you had to look it up, you should know what I was referencing
Listen to Will Ferrell 23 seconds in.

Great stuff!!
Was it half as funny as that trailer? I haven ‘t seen it but I did finally se The Hangover and couldn’t stop laughing for days.
You haven't seen Anchorman?
Next you’re gonna tell me you haven’t seen Fight Club.
I hope they serve beer in hell.
If you know anything about the book/movie
You are supposed to care nothing about rules. That’s the beauty of Nihilism.
Nietzsche and Zizek would have laughed at a Project Mayhem. :)
I hope they serve beer in hell.
I would argue back that they would
They were quite known for their contradictory arguements
Stumpy: It's called the '80s. Ford was president, Nixon was in the White House, and FDR was running this country into the ground.
The characters on Fight Club and Nietzsche and Zizek argued?
I don’t see how that is possible.

Don't you get it?
Anything is possible…lol. You have got to traverse the fantasy into the Real.

I'm about as confused as a blind lesbian in a fish market.

I wanted to change it

Sorry about that
The new pic looks good for flying solo. Sure that won’t be long. Are you going to Austin for the Spring game?
Gonna try and make it
don’t know my schedule for work yet

This.
Read Zizek’s Welcome to the Desert of the Real. The Matrix was based loosely on his beliefs, and Chuck Palanuik bases alot of his books on that premise as well. Good stuff, yet a hard read.

Where I am confused is how you snowballed this into a talk about them when we were clearly talking about Fight Club the movie.

I watched it but not with full attention
I was at home and other stuff was going on and I was confused by the end. Then I started figuring it out and realized that I needed to pay attention to the dichotomy which you, rBr and CoatchEtch have aptly displayed here.
If a recruit is this confused about his offer status . . .
. . . then the fact that he is this confused should probably tell him something about his offer status.
he was told Texas would take 2 commits, he thinks there’s 2 commits, hence he doesn’t know if he has an offer… it’s a legit confusion and I’m 99.9% sure has been cleared up.

DT Russell
I’m wondering if word is getting close on him and so a little pressure was being placed on Anderson. Hopefully Anderson and Brown are not a joint deal if we are moving on without Anderson.
