[Update]: Cole Green went 7.2 scoreless IP, giving up just 3 hits, and Chance Ruffin sat down all 4 Sooners he faced to get the save in a 2-0 victory. Connor Rowe had a 2-run double in the 2nd which provided all the scoring Texas would need.Texas was back in top form Thursday night, as Taylor Jungmann and Chance Ruffin were both brilliant on the hill to shut out the potent Sooner offense. The Longhorn bats got it done as well to the tune of 11 hits behind a stellar 3-for-5 night from leadoff hitter Cohl Walla and a solo bomb by Moldy. It is becoming very clear that Walla's contributions as a freshman will be one of those x factors that is huge for Texas into the postseason.
Tonight's game is at 6:30 CDT, weather permitting.
