If a 16th seed has never so much as even gotten out of the first round
what makes the NCAA they need to include teams even lower than that in the tourney? I seriously don’t understand why expansion even needs to happen at all.

This is a good thing
The extra 3 teams is silly — as silly as the 65th — but we are spared the ruin of the tourney with 96 teams. And the Turner contract gets every game televised.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you're a mile away AND you have their shoes.
Yeah, 65 is as silly as 68. 64 was perfectly fine.
