Here is the DMN link. Note that the link reports a story that Chip Brown broke at Orangebloods yesterday -- that Kindle MAY be having knee issues that MIGHT cause him to need microfracture surgery and MIGHT have kept him from being drafted in the first round. --GoBR--

Well that explains that

A couple notes:

First, if you create a FanPost or FanShot, try to take the time to properly tag the article so that it will have a better chance of popping up in search engines and our fine friends around the Interwebs can stop by and read your brilliant thoughts/notice your brilliant find.

Secondly, take some time to do some (brief) research on the subject and make sure that it comes from a credible source. Not to say that there is never any reason to link to a message board, but if there if some substantiation from the MSM, better to use that.

Thirdly, take a moment to ensure full reading comprehension.

Little disappointed

With the gay references on Claussen – one thing has made BON a personal favorite is the classiness of the posts – and the insightful contributions.

Didn't pick the picture for the text

which I don’t necessarily endorse. As for the picture, it raises Brady Quinn comparisons and I don’t think those are good for Clausen.

Agreed realmccoy

I am not a Clausen fan. IMO he is completely overrated and was clearly not the top HS Recruit as alleged. That said, I am disappointed seeing the word ‘queer’ used in this manner.
It is not cool to make fun of gay guys. Bad haircuts, now that is fair game, and his emu hair is hilarious.

I wouldn't call the report particularly substantiated at this point.

DMN just reported what Rivals reported, which came from one of Chip Brown’s sources. It could be that there are some issues with his knees because he did have that knee injury early in his career at Texas. Someone else reported that he might have nacolepsy and had trouble paying attention in meetings. He had the DWI and the texting incident. He didn’t test quite as fast as people thought he might and his shuttle wasn’t great. He’s not the best natural pass rusher in the world.

There are plenty of things for teams to nitpick and it’s impossible to know what teams were thinking or what is really going on in the war rooms and what their testing actually revealed.

…Someone else reported he might have narcolepsy and had trouble paying attention in meetings…

I linked to the article just because of the absurdity of a few instances and one columnist, without cited sources, decides that this is credible. I’ve dosed off in meetings and sometimes I have trouble paying attention. In fact, I bet everyone reading this may have done the same things at times. This rumor may cost Kindle some money.

The knee story seems credible.

The interwebs are good and bad. Claiming someone may have narcolepsy based on what they (reporter) may have heard is not necessarily a good thing.

John McClain on 610 here in Houston

mentioned this afternoon that Sergio had a knee issue. He didn’t specify anything and really only briefly mentioned it, but he seemed to me to be a bit surprised that it would scare anybody off. Don’t know if you guys put any stock in McClain.

he wasn’t out stopping terrorist bomb plots?

kindle has some microfracture in his knee that needs to have surgery which is why he fell int he draft boards most people thinik.
