Anyone else agree that Barnes' considerable downfall (not saying he’s not successful) in coaching may be due to the types of players he recruits? The one and dones ….and the uncoachable with attitude? I just don’t see the same thing in programs like NC, Duke, Mich St., and some of the other smaller schools. Yes, they have their negatives but seem to have much more upper classmen and stable players. Sorry NC, not this year! Does Barnes have a player formula when recruiting? Do we really think we are getting the cream of the crop or are we getting the leftovers other big programs don't really want because of attitudes? Yes, you will make that run and go far but can you win it all with the Barnes philosophy? Or lack of? Just seems it takes a certain type of chemistry to make a run...and win it all. Pure talent will only get you so far in the NCAA's.
