well, if you ever felt bad about taking a while to graduate
just be glad you didn’t do the Cavil plan. He began at texas in 1997, and now is getting his degree in 2010, so you’re looking at the 13-year plan. At least he received his degree, though. It shows he has matured from the kid who left texas after his junior season after failing the NCAA drug test for a second time.
Congrats especially to Whitaker for earning his degree in three years; I don’t care what your major is, to earn a degree in three years while balancing football and academics is an accomplishment. Anyone know what the degree requirements are for the Masters programs in Advertising or Sports Management? Is there a chance he could receive his Masters by the end of his fourth year, and be doing work on his PhD as a senior? Can you imagine calling him Dr. Fozzy?
Really is impressive
I found it incredibly difficult to get out of college in less than five years because of college athletics. Of course, I was playing mine with a joystick, but still.
You ain't hurt...
I attended UT's graduation this weekend.
I have to say, they do a fantastic job.
Friday we attended the Cockrell School Of Engineering Commencement and Saturday the School Wide Ceremony. Marcia Gay Harden was a guest speaker.
Very nice. 1100 Engineering Grads and over 7000 grads school wide.
