So, what to call the new Pac 10 if the Big 12 South follows CU? Hmm, how about the Big Pac, you know, the BP Conference?
And if I were Don Beebe looking to save my job (or some semblance of it) I'd reach out to the Mountain West and sell them on the merits of them joining the Big 12 (bringing along newest MW member Boise St) , giving them the benefit of getting the auto-BCS bid they've sought for so long and preempting the BP Conference from making dibs on it.
Just some thoughts.
