NCAA11 roster FLAWS

I buy NCAA football every year and every year it has several flaws on it. The edition this season is no different.

Star-divide

I noticed as soon as I looked at the roster that DJ Monroe and Sam Acho aren't on the roster. I was really looking forward to using Monroe on this years game. The closest player to S. Acho is a #18 DT. E. Acho is #18, but not a DT and his dimensions match Sam's. The game also had David Snow as our top rated player. I'm sure there are more flaws, but I haven't got past the roster yet.

Where did you find the roster?

Or did you just buy a copy? If anyone has a link, would you please post it?

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

Sam is #18 and Emmanuel is #9 as far as I can tell.

There are big mistakes every year. Just the way it goes with 120 teams and no idea who will start. I remember the year Beasley was not only the best player on the team, but probably the best defensive back in the country. It was hard not to win the Thorpe Award with him. Once someone online puts together an accurate roster—I’ve always been a fan of Pastapadre’s—the names should get better.

I’ve already taken the liberty of giving Gilbert a non-dorky facemask too.

Dravanti Johnson

is number 9

I know his REAL number

But I doubt that they would have made Dravanti Johnson an impact player on defense. It’s much more probable they got confused with two Acho’s and made a mistake.

Agreed

No way Dravannti would be considered an impact player, and an overall rating of 90 seemed pretty realistic, to me, for Emmanuel Acho.

Last night, I also turned down Kirkendoll’s speed and bumped Malcolm’s up a bit. No FREAKING way Kirkendoll is our fastest receiver!!

Please don't spend money on the rosters!!

Plenty of free good ways to get them online…. I’m working on mine but it will take a while and probably won’t include every team. Definitely has Texas taken care of, though.

I made #18 Sam Acho (I think it is definitely him.) I turned #9 into E. Acho and kept the ratings the same for him. I did make Sam Acho a bit faster. Once I made #9 Acho, I turned another player into Dravannti. Also, I turned Ben Wells into Nolan Brewster and made Russell Carter into Dominique Jones, i think.

Finally, I think I’ll have to make DJ Monroe, and maybe Jared Norton if I feel like he’ll get playing time. On the freshman wrs, I don’t think Demarco Cobbs is on the game (no WR’s from Oklahoma.) I think the one player I wasn’t sure of, I made Darius Terrell as a WR. I also made Barrett Matthews a TE, rather than the FB he is listed as.

Also, I turned Ben Wells into Nolan Brewster

How’d you do that?

by vy til i die on Jul 14, 2010 11:54 AM CDT up reply actions

I think Ben Wells was number 15 or something on the roster, so I changed his complexion, of course

And his number to 22 since 2 is being used by Vondrell McGee. I kept his ratings pretty similar. They seemed pretty fair. I also changed his hometown to Denver, CO.

I just couldn’t believe he was left off.

fairdale kings should have his roster share uploaded by tonight.

He has done the rosters for 3 years now and will have all teams done.

Here is another flaw

When you start a play now game and go through the animations where the players run out on to the field, there is this one specific player with the number 10 jersey.

  1. Jersey has been retired in TEXAS

One more flaw

How is it that Marquise Goodwin is number 4 on the WR list. For all intents and purposes I think he has already beaten out Kirk. He should be number 2 if not 1
