PS3 NCAA Football 2011-Online Dynasty

I have done dynasties but never an online one should be fun.

I’m prob not gonna start the league till some time next week. The reason being that the rosters with the names should come out sometime this weekend. Once I get them, i’ll let yall know where to get them as well.

If I’m having trouble getting my games done, feel free to advance. I want to take part, but I usually get a dynasty going with some old college buddies of mine, and I just don’t see a way I can run two dynasties with a 10 month old and another baby on the way! Well, not without my wife divorcing me, at least. : )

If nothing else, add me and I’d love to play y’all online at some point. I’ll see if I can add a few of y’all too.

I’m working on some rosters, too, but will probably look to use someone else’s for a dynasty since I doubt I’ll be able to finish all the teams. But the ones I’ve worked on so far are very accurate.

Is every team going to be from the same conference, or are y’all looking to have teams from all over the college landscape? And I do think Texas should be off limits.

Here is the proposed conference…we are doing the ACC, but I did tweak the teams into North(Atlantic) and South (Coastal):

Keep in mind, I tried to keep the teams close geographically to have some border wars in recruiting. I also tried to keep the teams between 4-6 stars in prestige and absolutely was against having top 10 teams. (although i know Va Tech is number 8…but I feel that their ranking is way too high!)

All 12 teams vary from an overall rating of 86-92, I think that is fair.

PLZ post your top three PREFERRED teams, but understand that you are just letting me know what team you would prefer and by no means are you staking claim to a team, just trying to help me with the process.

I plan to keep this league moving, so every in game week (when you play whoever is on your schedule) I as commissioner plan to move on to the next week about every 3-4 days, I think that is ample time to do your business (schedule head to head game/recruiting)

Also remember that alphaghost0215 is on the waiting list so if your not interested anymore, please let me know so I can get someone in who wants to play. Or if you are dragging the rest of the league down, I will give you the boot. (nothing personal!)

Hey, fellas. I’m “ry_bil” on PS3. IF there are others trying to get into the league, it’s okay to bump me. I think I’d be one of the people who have the hardest time keeping up with the league just because we have an 11 month baby and another one on the way in a little while! Don’t get me wrong- I’d love to do the dynasty, and the computer games wouldn’t be an issue. But I think finding time to play the games vs. other humans would be difficult for me. So, feel free to replace me, unless there is no one else available to take my slot.

Also, here is a recommendation on rosters. “buckeye02” has rosters for the entire NCAA. I’m sure there are a few minor errors, but on the whole they are good. Also, I’m working on rosters if you want to use mine. But they are a LONG way from being done! However, I’ve put a lot of work into the accuracy of the teams I’ve done so far, including fixing some things on Texas. It’s available at ry_bil in the EA Locker, but it’s a work in progress to say the least.

If I stay in the league, my top three would be:

Out of those, I have only heard from ry_bill…and you can def still play with us if you want, as long as you are ok with me simulating your games when you are not available. As commish I can put you on “Auto-Pilot” just let me know. (keep in mind that this will prob hurt in you in terms of wins and losses and/or recruiting) but its up to you, just let me know.

Looking into starting us into week 1 tonight or MON, if not no later than TUES night. Just want to make sure we have 12 guys strong.

ry_bil: what do you say we take the first 4 weeks of YR 1 as a trial run…we’ll see if you can make it work and if not then we move on from there. you good with that? Fair? I know I can put you on auto pilot and when I do that if you and I had to play head-head it should give me the option to play against your team, but against the CPU. But one of the things I do not know is when your on auto pilot, If it will allow you to do the recruiting for that week. If nothing else I can put you on auto pilot when you have a user vs user game and when you play the CPU just take you off of “auto-pilot.” Thoughts?

I was able to run like crazy with my Berry. They only scored a TD when I mass subbed in my second team D and they got a TD with 12 seconds left. Bastards! Ha ha.

I know I didn’t post that originally…but there is no restarting games, especially against the COMPUTER, if you lose you lose. If you do this, you will be asked to leave.

Just an FYI…I will post on the PlayStation Comment (Go to COYOTE51 and you will see the little text bubble to the right of my name.) section what week we are in…so now it will say “BON DYNASTY WK 2” You can just use that as a quick reference to see when i’ve advanced to the next week.

 For those of us that are playing another USER in a game…go ahead and send them a friend invite and let them know when you are available and play the game. Try to be flexible…I know we all have stuff to do and take care of, but this will be as fun and enjoyable as we make it. I don’t want to have to play against the CPU all the time or Simulate the game, but LIFE does happen so I understand if things come up. Good Luck!!

just for the record i didnt restart my game. It said I did twice but I didnt. My game froze like 2 minutes into the game, so I had to quit the entire game and start back over. It said i restarted twice for some reason.
