The higher the draft pick, the higher the scrutiny. He definitely has underperformed, but a lot of Texas players have – as have a ton of non-Texas players. When you’re the flagship university of the biggest state that plays football, then they’re going to call you out more often than other schools.

Hopefully Roy (as well as Limas) has it in him this off-season to get back to the top of the depth chart. It seems like the other meme about Texas players is that they languish for a few years before busting out better than ever.
