Sergio Kindle hospitalized with head injury
From PFT: We've confirmed that Ravens linebacker Sergio Kindle has been hospitalized with a head injury suffered on Thursday night. A league source tells us that Kindle initially had some swelling inside his skull, but the situation has since improved significantly.
"Members of our medical staff, including Bill Tessendorf and Dr. Andy Tucker, have spoken with doctors in Texas. We understand Sergio is stable at this time and that he is being tested and observed," Ravens General Manager Ozzie Newsome said in a release posted on the team's website.

There's a lot of speculation that he didn't really fall down a flight of stairs
Although I haven’t heard any rumors as to what might’ve actually happened.
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

Clarify
He’s being a jackass because he was drinking/drunk at the time? Because you’ve never taken a sip of course?
Alternate theory...
Maybe I missed my calling as a defense attorney, or maybe 9 years in DC has given me an incredible ability to spin, but….
He could have fallen down the first flight of stairs and hit his head. Then attempted to get up and stumbled down the second flight. He may well have been drunk. He also could have been sober. I just had 4 screws put in my shoulder from stumbling down stairs. Stone cold sober (unfortunately) . I also seem to remember Clint Barmes having a similar accident back in ‘05.
" I figured, I’m an athlete, I can walk up the stairs, it’s not that big a deal. Obviously, if I had to go back, I would have waited, or at least been a bit more careful going up. "
— Clint Barmes
Probably not the case but we can hope.
Sources?
I’d love to read the story.

Narcolepsy?
I remember this being discussed before the draft. Weak article, but it was the first thing I came to when I googled it. Could explain his wreck before last season and falling down stairs.

If he fell down the stairs at Pure, I would totally understand.
Those steps are so damn small, and I slipped, flipped over, and sprained my ankle near the bottom half of the those stairs. Hahah— it’s funny in hindsight.
Nonetheless, hope Kindle makes a speedy recovery.
