Top 10 prospect DeAndre Daniels has decommitted from Texas
No idea why or what the circumstance is. This has been reaffirmed by Dustin McComas of OB so it sounds legit. Sad to hear.

Nooooooooo
"Football's so important in Texas. On the West Coast, it's a social. On the East Coast, it's a culture. Here, it's a religion."

well
that gives us another ship for someone who actually wants to help Texas win a national championship, rather that use us for an NBA stepping stone. Daniels would’ve probably been gone after 1 season anyway
well...
He probably watched Texas play B-Ball last season.
This is a terrible day...
Workman and Ruffin sign. AS-J is going to go to Washington. Daniel’s decommits. Austin last week. Damn man…
Drinking early tonight....
Stumpy: It's called the '80s. Ford was president, Nixon was in the White House, and FDR was running this country into the ground. I was bummin' in a hole-in-the-wall town in what is now called "Utah".
This guy was a flashy wing as I understand it
Probably just a Jordan Hamilton clone not a game changer…
Most overused tagline: “He is big but he also has handles!”
I didnt mean flashy as in showboat
more of like slasher is what I was thinking
that was meant to reply to ibleedburntorange49-9
in addition, the comparison to Hamilton was not in the sense of ball hog or overzealous shooter but more as what his role would be on a texas squad i.e. perimeter player that drives sometimes.
I dont know that his value was so great that its a backbreaker for recruiting
I like J Hamilton btw
and I think of him as role player “not a game changer”
Daniels is a much better
Prospect, talent, and player. He can score inside and out, rebounds better, blocks more shots, and handles comparably as well (and is better with his left hand). He’s also at least as good of a shooter and 10x the finisher. More athletic. Jordan is a better passer and has a stronger body, but that is about it. HUGE loss.
