ESPN/Scouts Inc. 2011 NFL Draft Player Rankings
Content is In$ider, but here's a sneak peek at the Texas rankings.
33. Aaron Williams (grade: 89)
56. Curtis Brown (84)
131. Chykie Brown (63)
133. Sam Acho (62)
Yeah, not a lot of Texas representation at all. Kheeston Randall should definitely be on the list. Other Texas potentials include seniors Eddie Jones and Kyle Hix, and juniors who could have big seasons in Keenan Robinson, Christian Scott, and Malcolm Williams.
For those interested, Jake Locker was number one overall. A&M actually beats Texas with a higher overall Von Miller at 20, although he's the only Aggie on the list. OU first checks in at 18 with Travis Lewis.

Sam Acho
will raise his stock big time with this season. I’d be very surprised if he is not he is not at least a 2nd round pick in the next draft. He is a 3-4 end which are not easy to find and in the 4-3 he could play a strong end or possibly slide in to a 3 in pass rush situations.

-Walter Payton
Aren't these the same guys that had Adam Ulatoski as a first round left tackle before last year?
I liked Ulatoski, but goodness, I got a good laugh when I saw that one.

Surprised
Yeah, I saw this yesterday and was surprised to see A. Williams as the 5th or 6th best corner.
Then, Acho looks to be severely underrated, but that’s okay. I think we know how good these two are, so it doesn’t really matter.
hahahahha
Jake Locker is a white JaMarcus Russell, and its so hilarious that everyone thinks he will be anything of an NFL QB.
Heck, I would rather have Kellen Moore as the starting QB on my franchise

explain…I understand Locker’s limitations (bad completion %, bad mechanics, etc)…but what do you see in Moore?
From what I've seen from him
He is basically Colt McCoy Lite, with a weaker arm, comparable height, and he is a “gamer”
He's probably
Going to break Colt’s starting qb wins record. He’s like 26 or 27-1 righ now.

Locker's not that great
But Moore won’t even play in the NFL.
Anybody who doesn’t have A.J. Williams top 10 shouldn’t be making an NFL draft projection. Lewis at 18 is pretty funny as well. McShay is just awful.
I would rather have Jake Locker than Garrett Gilbert in 2010
And that says a lot more about Locker than Gilbert. I like both a lot, but I think Locker’s an extremely strong Heisman candidate for good reasons.
If you’d like to explain your comparisons to Jamarcus Russell, whose lack of mobility and work ethic made him basically the very opposite of Jake Locker, I’d like to hear it. But I would like to go on record by saying that saying Locker is a white Russell indicates that you might as well not know what shape a football is.
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

Rationale on Aaron Williams
An underclassman with a lot of potential, Williams has a good size-speed combination (6-1, 195 pounds; mid-4.4s in the 40) and is a smooth cover corner.
He is very aggressive, and we like the way he attacks the ball (8 INT, 3 PBU last season), but Williams needs to be more calculating when taking risks. He is confident in his ability but will get burned at times when gambling and guessing.
Williams also needs to become a more consistent open-field tackler. He is very willing in run support but could take better angles and wrap up better in space. He currently gets an early-second round grade but could move into the first round with a strong junior season.
I don't always watch football, but when I do, I prefer Dos Achos. Stay thirsty, my friends.
Burned at times?
Please, find me an instance where he got burned for “gambling or guessing.” Who just makes stuff up about players to sound informed? Don’t answer that…

If Von Miller Gets Picked Higher The AJ
I will smooch his arse while he holds up his NFL jersey with the number 1 on it.
