Both right.
Gates to park and tailgate open 4 hours prior to kickoff, gates to sit inside open 2 hours prior. Kickoff is 2:30.
questions
1) who all is goin to the game
2) is anyone tailgating or having a BON tailgate
3) is the game indoors or outdorrs? I dont remember if Reliant can have its roof opened
I will be there with about 13 other friends in burnt orange. Section 609, row K
I was planning on tailgating and trying to get a BON poster made for it, but money problems got in the way, and I didn’t have enough time to plan it out. I may still tailgate but it probably wont involve much food. Just beer.
I’m sure they will have the roof closed like they did in September of 2006, because 100 degree weather in Houston is not fun at 230 pm. But I could be wrong.
Stumpy: It's called the '80s. Ford was president, Nixon was in the White House, and FDR was running this country into the ground. I was bummin' in a hole-in-the-wall town in what is now called "Utah".
Ill be in Section 609 as well, got the tix from a rice alum
If everyone would be willing to bring a few snack here and there im sure we could have a good BON gathering, seems like a lot of houston folk are attending this game
Yeah I'm beyond looking forward to it.
I saw Colt’s first game as a starter and I wouldnt dare to miss GG’s first game as a starter. Its been a long, desolate 8 months of hell. I’m ready for some football!

I shall be there
Though I do not have tailgate plans at the moment.

I believe parking lots will open at 10:30.
I’ll be out there at 9:30 with some friends. We will be in either the blue (purple?) or yellow parking lots (haven’t decided). We should have a decent tailgate with food, beers and a TV with around 20 or so people.

Not making the opener
But my lone trip to Reliant was a great one (for the VY return to Houston, in which he smoked the Texans for a game-winning TD run in overtime). Looked like a mediocre place to tailgate, but I was impressed with the stadium. My seats weren’t special, but the view of the game was more than adequate. Should be a fun place to catch the ’Horns.
You ain't hurt...
Cheap place to catch the horns
20 bucks a ticket. I had season tickets the past 2 years for the Texans, and the tailgating isnt great due to the fact that it IS an NFL stadium, so you’re force-fed a concrete wasteland for grilling adventures, however Reliant was voted the best place to tailgate out of all 31 NFL stadiums the past 2 years. Then again, nothing compares to a tailgate in a college football atmosphere, imo.
Ok, I really want to go back to the Grove again.

We'll be in the blue lot of course.
Y’all are welcome to come by. Hmm..not sure how y’all will recognize us. Maybe if I put a big “GIMME” flag up?

See y'all there.
I’m easy to spot. I’m the short guy, with an Aggie girlfriend who will look like she is in obvious pain having to wear burnt orange. She’ll get over it.

Unfortunately, I was given the choice.
Travel to the deathstar and see VY play the Cowboys or Texas v. Rice. I chose VY.

As a side note
If you rewatch that play, even some fans in Texan gear were cheering. Hate the management, not the player, I guess.
What do we do if somehow Colt McCoy ends up on an NFL team starting against Vince Young?
Montgomery County Texas Exes has a suite at Reliant
We’re rollin’ 2 buses deep from Papa’s out in the Woodlands, but I don’t really know what we’re doing about drinking when we get there? Maybe just pull the coolers off and drink outside the bus?….
RBR, no love for the Cowboys stadium? You gonna hit up a Rangers game or are they out of town this weekend?

Sneezy!

Will be there! If we can get some tailgating plans together that would be awesome.
Only 5 more days!
I even named my son Kolt.

I'll be there,
tailgate-hopping with horndudette, horndudecuz and a few buds. Houston Texas Exes are hosting a large tailgate, but we’re just gonna walk around, hoping to spot official BON roadgamer, 54b, in his natural habitat.
Weird

My work is done here.
And yes, I’ll be at Reliant this Saturday chasing two dreams: another national title and apology-free inebriation.
If a progressive tailgater should somehow figure out how to pull off a looser interpretation of Reliant’s strict anti-farm animal fornication demonstration law, well then, that’ll just be a beastiality bonus for the whole football game going family.
