I am facing my first Longhorn football season as a stranded Longhorn fan.  I will be out of country the entire football season, and there will be no TV access to American Sports.  Not a Military deal so no access to Armed Forces TV.  Can other stranded Horn fans share their stories on the best way to watch Horns football live and with some  viewing quality?   Here are some basic question from a tech challenged Longhorn fan:

• I will still have access to a US TV at home.  Any success stories or frustrations with Sling Box technology?  Turbo charger necessary?
• Any ways to purchase games directly from UT or NCAA?  Anything necessary to boost quality of viewing through internet?
• Any other success stories or bad experiences?
