HOF Game - Game Thread (Plus: Shipley Video)

Jordan Shipley returns punt 64 yards in rookie debut for Bengals against Cowboys in HOF game (via shipleyplaysguitar)

Football.  Finally.

The game features 5 of the finest members of the Longhorns offense in recent memory.  (i.e. 5 reasons Greg Davis makes a comfortable living.)

Jordan Shipley, Quan Cosby and Cedric Benson on the Bengals versus Leonard Davis and Roy Williams on the Cowboys.  Roddrick Muckelroy is also a rookie for the Bengals

Starters will likely only be in for first quarter, but Jordan and Quan may see some snaps later in the game and perhaps returning kicks.

Sit back and enjoy.

Uniform #s:

Shipley - 11
Cosby - 12
Benson -32
Muckelroy - 56

Davis - 70
Williams - 11

Owens looks...old

Not in how he’s running his routes or anything, but after the play he just seems to move like someone with achey joints

by 40AS on Aug 8, 2010 7:30 PM CDT reply actions

It will be interesting to watch the ego dynamic between Owens and Ochocinco. All that love for the other may disappear quickly if Palmer favors one receiver.

I really hope

that Roy can figure it out. That was a nice catch on the first drive and he seems to be getting open pretty well. Big season?

Shiply starting in the slot as expected

Bengals have 85, T.O., Ship, Quan, and Antonio Bryant while ’Boys have Miles, Roy, Dez, Crayton, and Hurd.

Not many teams can boast depth like that. Carson and Tony are certainly happy…as are the running backs

Romo has great WRs....

But 3 talented TEs (Witten, Bennett & Phillips) is just piling it on.

Good to see Quan out there

I haven’t been able to watch any Bengal games in the last year, so that’s the first live play of Quan’s I’ve seen since his Fiesta Bowl winner. Still one of my all time favorite Longhorns.
