Nebraska set up to succeed in Big Ten
Not only has Nebraska chosen to sever a century long tie to Kansas and abandon other rivalries, now the Big Red have essentially split Ohio State and Michigan.
Looking at the divisions, Nebraska is transitioning from a weak Big 12 North to a weak Big Ten fluff division for the next few years.
• Nebraska, Michigan, Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern and Minnesota comprise one division
• Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana and Illinois the other.

Wouldn't it have made more sense
to put Wisconsin with the teams in the west and Northwestern in the east, at least for geographical reasons. Maybe it was too confusing to have two teams with red and white colors in the same division. Maybe it was the cheese-n-corn fritter lobby that demanded they were in different divisions. Anyway best of luck NU…..I hope you flip your bike and knock out your two front teeth….team player! :)
Weak North, uggh.... West Division
If they Put Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue and Wisconsin in one Division, it could be the Corn Grower’’s Division and the other 6 could be the Corn Eater’s Division.
Michigan is the only team
from the “West Division” (they are not calling it that) to have not made a bowl game last year. And if anyone thinks that two bad years will spell the end of the winningest program in CFB then they don’t remember Texas’ own dark days in the 80’s.
Less memorable than Sam Okey's Hawkeye career.
