Durant leads USA to World Championship
Led by Kevin Durant's 28 points, including seven treys, the USA "B" team whipped Turkey, 81-64, in Turkey's home stadium in Istanbul Sunday. Durant also set a US tourney record for more points scored in the World Championship tournament. The Championship is the first for the US since 1994 and the leadership of Durant was evident throughout the tourney.
He may be a very young man, but his maturity as a person and a player will keep yielding great returns for the University of Texas for many years to come.

This showing proves
This was the “official” coming out party for Kevin Durant on the (inter)national stage. By assuming the leadership role on this very young team, he proved that he is ready to lead the NBA into the future. His career arc has absolutely no ceiling at this point.
The shortest distance between two points is under construction.

Was there ever a doubt? I love KD and all he represents.

He looked unstoppable...
he was a beast through the entire tournament, and is number 1 in the record books for total points in a single tournament.

Yes, 205, breaking the old record of 177.
Man, does he have a future.
Oklahoma City should thank their lucky stars for the next couple of years.
KD is to Lebron
as Russell was to Wilt
If you're so sure of what it ain't, how about telling us what it am!
I'm sad that with football kicking off at the same time as the tournament
KD and team USA’s excellent showing have been lost in the shuffle. I know KD’s not complaining though because that’s just the kind of guy he is, but I’d like to see him get his time in the spotlight like the Kobe’s and Lebron’s of the league. He’s earned it.

kd is just a quiet guy
but trust me people do recognize his talent. People are talking.
He'll be recognized this year.
ESPN last prediction had him winning MVP for the coming season. Whether or not he does, the fact that he’s an odds on favorite is astounding for a soon-to-be 22 year old coming into the season. And if the Thunder can make a deeper playoff run this year, most all will notice (that pay attention to sports and basketball).
Hook 'em.
