Pretty much.

funny thing is...
Gibert wasn’t really directly responsible for any of the four turnovers in Lubbock, however Mandel chooses to criticize his decision-making. Sure, the offensive passing game could improve a good bit if Gilbert was a little more on target and looked off a few receivers, but my lack of confidence in the offense does not stem from anything Gilbert has or has not done. Mandel’s contentions about the running game are correct, though.
It's clear that
sports commentators/columnists/analysts often don’t watch the games. To mention GG’s 3 interceptions at Tech without any details on how they happened is disingenuous. I’m not saying that GG is entirely free from blame, but nobody who watched the game would say, “Oh yeah, Gilbert threw 3 interceptions. Not a great day for him.”
Yeah
The stuff he said about Gilbert indicates he didn’t watch the game. Odd, because he had a pretty good read on the team other than the GG comments. He is spot on about the RBs, the OL, and everything he said about the defense. Not that it’s really that hard. More than half the guys who log major snaps on the defense are playing at an All-American level right now.
