Hook 'em

Gilbert and the WRs will have his coming out party, RBs will break some long runs. I would say 66-0 payback, but atleat 40-50+ should be realistic. Would love to see Case get some playing time.

Bombilla!!!

My fave BON poster…can’t wait for your comments. I’m guessing you were away to take care of lil’ Bombilla?

Hey man!

I was wondering if the old group was still on here!

Yeah, well I’ve since had another son (so that makes two – bookend linebackers!). Plus, I’ve been working two jobs since Oct 2008 (we’re paying off all of the “easy” debt: credit cards, student loans, car). Hell, if it wasn’t for DVR I’d never get to see a Texas game!

I will resume flexing my hilarious, seemingly off-topic, ridiculous, graphically-enhanced muscles.

"Hope" is nice...

But if we are adopting Obama slogans, I’d prefer “Change” (preferably o-line coach and offensive coordinator)

O-Line Coach?

Yes.

Offensive coordinator? No. I will present stats for Greg Davis if your comment is a knee-jerk reaction to perceived mediocre game play. Consider your comment after remembering our record over the past ten years.
1999: 9-5
2000: 9-3
2001: 11-2
2002: 11-2
2003: 10-3
2004: 11-1
2005: 13-0
2006: 10-3
2007: 10-3
2008: 12-1
2009: 13-1

Dude. That’s 119-23. Over 10 years. I used to be on the Sack Greg Davis wagon, but when we start going 7-4 or 6-5 (and it will happen again, someday), then I’ll get back on.

Hook’em!

Wins are representative

of a good job by a head coach. Not an offensive coordinator. Show me how many of those have our offense ranked better then our defense and it’d be something.

What do we do if somehow Colt McCoy ends up on an NFL team starting against Vince Young?

And to be honest

I don’t know how that stat plays out, I just know that without our fantastic defense for the past several seasons, we would have lost MANY games.

Really?

You really want to stick by that statement?

You think that these wins are simply representative of a head coach’s “good job”? You really think that Mack was breaking down the film with Major, Chris, Vince, and Colt?

Come on, man. Give Davis some credit. You remember the days of Gardere, Morenz, and Brown, right? The defense should always be the strength of the team, but I don’t think that the defense alone scored 70 points against Colorado in 2005.

So why cant we put up 70 on Colorado as we speak today?

Do you want to stand by your adoration of GD?

Dude

Vince. That’s why. Someone had to build an offense around Vince, right? Who’s the quarterback coach?

You miss the point

I’m saying that the Defense has bailed the offense out multiple times when GD’s play-calling has failed miserably. I don’t pretend to know how good of a player position coach he is. His game-plans and play-calling is abhorrent about once every 3 games.

Speaking of, wouldn’t it have been nice if our defense showed up to help this weekend? Shit. That was a bad game.

Get back on...

After watching today’s performance, I think you’re looking at a 7-4 team…
