Might I remind everyone...

WE ARE TEXAS... again... WE ARE TEXAS... There is nothing wrong with being upset over a loss, even angry, but what I have seen thus far has been somewhat ridiculous and maddening. Might I remind you that this is a College Football team. This is THE college football team WE love. Isn't that why we spend our time talking about them and wearing their colors. Isn't that why we stand in 90 to 100 degree weather just to hear the UT band play Texas Fight and to watch OUR favorite team take the field? This team has a lot of issues and question marks, but we already knew that. Get a hold of yourselves. Tomorrow morning you will wake up...and guess what...WE ARE STILL TEXAS. I, for one, can't wait till next saturday. It's another saturday I get to watch MINE and YOUR Horns.. Hook em.

that’s very sweet, kind & gentle but MIGHT I REMIND YOU that you only stand in 90 to 100 degree heat, taking in the sights & sounds, paying vast quantities of money to support a COMPETITVE team. Baylor & Rice don’t attrack 100,000 fans in any weather because they aren’t very good. Might I remind you WE ARE TEXAS only applies if we are consistently good. If you don’t believe that consider that 10 years ago “WE ARE FLA, ST.” resonated on a national basis. After 10 years of mediocrity, not so much. So please don’t ask us to accept a performance that is “not to our standards” to borrow our coaches cliche.

I think he's stating

“step back from the ledge”. Paraphrasing of course. All is not lost, and we have the luxury of turning it around on Saturday. OU really hasnt impressed much, save for the FSU game, and we have a chance to be competitive with them. If we take down 2 top 10 teams in the next 2 weeks, no one will be saying anything about our loss to UCLA. The new narrative is how Mack and Co. rallied the troops to overcome adversity. Thats what football is about.

That is exactly what I was saying. I love this football team just as much as the next guy. O fully trust that Mack will have his team ready to go Saturday. This team will get better.

I'm With You Brother....

It hurts because we do care. The suck factor made it hurt that much worse, and the pain leads to a lot of yelping and gnashing of teeth.

Sometimes you have a bad day and your team weaknesses turn into failures and your strengths go sour. The program will go on… I can’t wait for Saturday. I’d rather get the wakeup call now, and hopefully they’ll get it together in time to take advantage of some of the strong matchups we have against OU.
