Texas WR Jaxon Shipley Ruled Out Against Missouri
For the second consecutive week, the Texas Longhorns will be without freshman wide receiver Jaxon Shipley, who leads the team in catches.
Shipley suffered a strained MCL during the first half of the Kansas game two weeks ago and has practiced only sporadically since, while missing the Texas Tech game as well.
Since the Longhorns are unlikely to be able to get Missouri throwing the football only seven times, other receivers will have to step up, including DeSean Hales and Miles Onyegbule, who have only one catch between them. Another candidate is Darius White, who reportedly had a strong week of practice and is improving his blocking. White caught his first career touchdown last week late against Texas Tech.
Freshman guard Sedrick Flowers will also not travel with the team to Columbia because of a left shoulder injury.
Another wide receiver, John Harris, is presumably still out with a fractured foot, but every other player should be available for the Longhorns.

Here's to the O-line having a great day

Wasn't Flowers getting some snaps?
Last week Shipley’s loss did not hurt but this week it will. (Other than on punt returns, where Diggs did a pretty nice job.)

Has Benson ever returned from his injury?
Shipley’s loss hurts on a day when we’ll need to pass, but it’s safe to say Mizzou won’t have much film on some of the receivers we do send at their secondary.
I'm gonna call it. I think D $ and Davis have big days

Malcolm Brown
How is he doing?
D$ needs to step up….don’t know why he is being so timid.
Mike D will also have a huge day.
We're Texas, We're not OK.
Brown could have played last week
and presumably he’s a bit more healthy this week, but turf toe is an injury that will linger, so it’s hard to imagine that he’s 100%.

Bergeron showed why I loved him in the Texas vs. World game
He runs like Trent Richardson or that dude from V-Tech last night. He means to run you over so you can’t tackle him. He’s a beast and fun to watch, but I want M. Brown’s quicker cutting abilities too. They are a great dual threat.

This game will be all on the run game
forecast is for a steady 30 mph wind with gust up to 50 mph

Lucky that Fozzy is playing great too
With Fozzy, Bergeron, Brown and a splash of DJ we are in very good shape.
Also, DeSean Hale….any chance he steps up?

Meh.
Hasn’t happened yet. I wouldn’t really even expect him to play that much, especially if the weather makes it difficult to throw the ball.

I think it's D-Money's time.
