Report: Texas considering former Tech QB Jacob Karam

[Update]: Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods reporting that as of Tuesday morning, there had been no contact between Karam and the Texas coaching staff, which may need more time to do evaluations of all the available options. --GoBR-- Following a Sunday meeting in which the Texas offensive braintrust discussed the possibility of bringing in a JUCO or graduate transfer QB, the first report of the staff considering a specific name surfaced on Tuesday. The report comes from Recruitocosm's Jesus Shuttlesworth, who says that a source indicates Texas may reach out to former Texas Tech quarterback Jacob Karam, a Friendswood product who had a successful high school career there. Of course, this isn't an indication that Texas will definitely reach out to Karam, only a possible indication that it could happen. Take that for what it's worth.
