Who is your "My guy" for the 2012 season?
Figured we'd have a little fun heading into the off-season. My guy is Kendall Sanders. From highlight reels, the kid has serious talent. Here's to him being on the 40 and being one of "My Guys". Who's yours?

Okafor and Jeffcoat
The production from these 2 with a full year in the system should be fun to watch.
I'm not so sure. I see him taking kick off duties from Diggs.
That leaves him and DJ Monroe…
Scary..
Me: "Hunny, how much is our Wedding budget?"
Fiance`"No, You can't have Craig Way call our wedding.."
Me: "Damnit.."
This works.
I’d rather they save Diggs’ energy for the defensive side of the ball.

Diggs and Shipley 2.0 being the exceptions...
how often does Mack let freshmen field punts and kick retunrs?
Honest question.

I'm not sure it really matters.
It seems as though the Seniority moniker is kind of out. I truly believe that the staff is sticking to their guns about whoever is the best at the position, no matter the seniority, will play.

Shipley should have a hell of a year next year, especially if he develops chemistry with Ash.
This offense next year has the potential, already. to be really really good.

Ash, I think, Is a good choice.
I think this summer will be extremely beneficial for Ash.

My guy is DJ Grant
I expect great things from him.

jonathon grey!
I cant wait to see how fast he adjusts to the college speed. He can have so we have a great haalf back in throughout the game.
Can't pick 1 guy, but I think the O-line
They have to be good for us to be successful. If they are dominant, we will be able to run the ball well with our 3 talented backs. Our qb, whoever he is will also have time to make better decisions if they are dominant. I think their play will be the difference between a BCS game and another 8 win season.

kid is a helluva leader already

Malcolm Brown
Even with the lofty expectations already on this kid, I have a feeling that a summer of skill and S&C development for Brown and the 0-line, is going to flip some caps.
Predictions
Biggest positive impact on offense: Malcolm Brown
Most improved on offense: Dominic Espinosa
Biggest positive impact on defense: Alex Okafor
Most improved on defense: Jordan Hicks (making us concerned he’ll jump early), Reggie Wilson

Would Bet a Cerveza that Gray has more yards than Brown
Change isn't good or bad it just "is". Don Draper of Madmen
Why's that?
Is this like betting that Gilbert would break all McCoy’s records?

Steve Edmond
I’m all set for him to become my favorite Longhorn.
I have it on good authority that if you type "Google" into Google, you can break the Internet. So please, no one try it, even for a joke. It's not a laughing matter. You can break the Internet.

Does He Have a LB Position in this Defense?
I think Manny likes guys like Cobbs more – I actually think Edmonds is too big for the scheme and will have to become a DT to contribute at UT.

Maybe not
But that’s OK. From what I’ve seen of his HS highlight reel, combined with his special teams play this year, I just want him on the field – If that means he’s a DT, fine – kid is a football player and a force of nature.
Kirk Bohls seems to agree with you:
Spotted freshman linebacker Steve Edmond in the San Diego airport after the Holiday Bowl. Thought he was a defensive tackle. Mack said he weighs 263 pounds.

It's just amazing that we're looking at a guy who could skip right past end to tackle
His talents seem to be more in line with interior play, so that makes sense. It seems like a waste for a guy who seems like such a beast, but I can’t even think of a good middle linebacker in the NFL who plays at that size, aside from Urlacher. Of course Urlacher didn’t really play much mike/ILB in college, as he was moving around at sam, will, strong safety, and tight end.

PS: if we're talking an ILB that size, we're talking Levon Kirkland

A guy with his quicks and instincts to find the football...
Could make for a very intriguing package at DT. At 6’3" he’s a little on the short side for DE, but he might provide some added depth there as well.
Again, I don’t care where he lines up. I just want the coaches to tell him, “Go destroy the guys in the other-colored shirt.” Then sit back and enjoy the mayhem.

6'3" is right in the good range for a DT
Hampton is 6’1", if that. Derek Lokey was an extremely vicious and productive nose guard at just 6’2", and was probably 285lbs. sopping wet. Lamarr Houston played at 6’3" at most, and according to Rivals, he weighed 257lbs. coming out of HS. Of course he worked his arse off to get to 305lbs. by the time he went to the NFL combine. Rivals says Edmond was 245lbs., but if he’s 263lbs., he’s well on his way to getting Houston-like size. I think Edmond’s height is unlikely to be the limiting factor, really, especially if he’s been resisting packing on the pounds for purposes of playing linebacker up to this point. If coaches were to tell Wylie to give the kid the green light to bulk up for nose guard, I’ll bet he could easily be over 270lbs. of goodness by spring ball.
The other thing I’d really like to see him do would be to earn a role as the DT masquerading as a short-yardage blocking FB. Edmond seems like he’d be perfect for it, just like Lokey and some others were.
