I have one word to sum up the Longhorn's regular season: whew. I do, however, have a word for next season: Avenge. This college football season has had it's share of "what tha???" moments, those words sum up the season for the Big 12. I personally have had enough of the blame game. It seems as if every school wanting to "jump ship" on their conference points the finger at Texas. I realize that is a bit of an exaggeration, but give it a rest. When Nebraska left the Big 12 and started the ball rolling, I could care less. The Cornhuskers had whined, cried, and stomped their feet too many times. Good riddance. The Big 10 is a better fit for you anyway. Colorado just looks stupid, much like they usually did when they were members of the Big 12. Missouri receives a rolling of the eyes and a shrug of the shoulders, and they are going to realize they made a huge mistake. It is Texas A&M that upsets me the most. It is not just because they are leaving the conference, but the WAY they chose to go. They blame the Longhorn Network (and we all know what an enormous bust that was-NOT), then state that they just want to establish their own identity in a new conference. PLEASE. The only reason who are who you are in the college football landscape is because of Texas, and you can't run away from that. You will establish your own identity in the SEC as bottom rung, ho-hum, middle of the road, chip on your shoulder, two-faced cowards. So, good luck with your new identity, or lack thereof.
As for the rest of the Big 12, anyone who knows anything knows that Texas will be bigger, faster, more mature, and out to avenge the losses they received this season. This especially goes for you Baylor and K-State because Baylor's 9 win season, ranking, and bowl berth is riding on the backs of it's junior quarterback. So, we at Texas, say we can have two lackluster seasons in a row because they will always be overshadowed by the many victories we already have, and the ones yet to come.
