Top "Ten" Reasons to Feel Good About Longhorn Football Going Forward

Good Morning, BONers.

We have many blessings to be grateful for this Holiday season, not the least of which is significant improvement from last year's 5-7 debacle. In that spirit, I decided to put together a list of the top ten reasons why we should feel good about Longhorn Football going forward. I came up with a few extra.

Feel free to pile on.

10. We don't have to play the Aggies any more, ever again. We can just say "no."

9. Next year we will have 4 QBs with 13 years of eligibility remaining, which is better than the 12 years of eligibility among the four QBs we had in August.

8. The Big 12-2 is still intact, with a couple of new teams.

7. We don't have to worry any more about when Case will throw his first interception.

6. The player management by our offensive staff avoids serious injury to key back-up players.

4. After the BU game, nobody will try to steal Manny D from us.

4. Nobody will ever try to steal Harsin from us.

3. The Cougars lost.

2. We are not in the SEC.

1. TIE: Mack is not retiring any time soon, and when he does, he will be our AD; we have the Longhorn Network; and WE'RE TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have an awesome, burnt-orange day.
