Interview with Chris Ogbonnaya
Hi Burnt Orange Nation,
I have been here before, but it's been a while so let me start off by reintroducing myself. My name is Max Strauss. I'm in high school. I'm actually in the eleventh grade and I work really hard interviewing NFL players. I love doing it and I share interviews with a bunch of NFL fans. I was here a while ago to share an interview with another former Texas Longhorns wide receiver, punt returner, and kick returner, Quan Cosby.
I'm here and I'm back to share an interview with former Longhorns running back, Chris Ogbonnaya. He was recruited to play at UT as a wide receiver, but later switched positions and became a running back. He was drafted in the 7th round, 211th overall in 2009 by the St. Louis Rams. In the interview, he recounts his journey in the NFL and what it was like to play at University of Texas, being a national champion his freshmen redshirt year and also to be a part of the Texas Culture as he grew up in Texas with parents, who were both born in Nigeria.

Thank you so much for letting me share. I remember you guys gave some tremendous feedback on that last interview I shared. I hope all of you send me your feedback and thoughts also!

Great job Max
Ogbannaya is one of my favourite Longhorns players. He never was a star in the field, but he fought till the end. I’ll remember the 60 yards run vs OU in 2008. Great young man.
I found myself singing the Ogbonnaya Chorus after that game
He had some truly great moments.
